Lucy Surgeon

Lucy trained at MAPA from the age of 2 to 18. During her time at MAPA Lucy performed with the English Youth Ballet and also became the runner up RAD ballet dancer of East England. She also successfully auditioned at the ID Company in London where she continued training alongside MAPA and gained professional opportunities such as being cast in music videos as a dancer.

At 18 Lucy gained a place at Bird College where she trained for 3 years and gained a First Class Honours Degree in professional dance and musical theatre. In her third year at Birds Lucy was cast in 'Beauty and the Beast' choreographed by Matt Nicholson, making her professional debut before graduating in 2022. Soon after Lucy had the opportunity to be Dance Captain for Matt Nicholson's 'Moulin Rouge' on the main stage at Move It.

After graduating Lucy was cast as a soloist dancer on board AIDAperla where she travelled around the Caribbean for six months. Currently Lucy is in rehearsals as a dancer for the Thursford Christmas Spectacular.
