Our Ethos

LIVE LOVE DANCE

The school aims to not only enable children to perform, but also to explore their creativity, build their social skills and improve their self confidence. We feel this ultimately helps them to become well rounded adults with high levels of personal responsibility and professionalism.

The school's Principal, Vanda Morgan, is well known for her enthusiasm and is totally dedicated to the care and progress of students, many of whom continue on into the industry. Both alumni and present pupils can be seen regularly on TV, Stage and Screen. Well known names such as James Bourne from Busted to Kara and Hannah Tointon trained with us here at MAPA and have gone on to have glittering careers.  We are very pleased to announce that Miss Kara Tointon is our Patron.

Student Wellbeing

In this day and age we recognise how important it is that we support and take care of our students mental Wellbeing.

With this in mind, we are lucky to be able to offer the services of Miss Kate who has trained in Reiki and Energy Healing.  Miss Kate offers group meditation classes, where the students can switch off from what's going on around them, clear their minds, relax and recharge.  She also offers 1-2-1 sessions for a more personal experience.  If you are interested in booking a private session, please contact Miss Kate directly on 07889 170301.

In addition, Suzy has completed a Psychological First Aid Course where she has learned to recognise signs of distress, how to support children to feel safe, connected and to be able to take steps to help themselves, and the various resources that are available to them and their parents so that they can access further guidance and help.
