Ema Jane Grabowski
Head of ISTD Tap/ Modern/ Jazz
After training locally in Dance and gaining her A levels, Ema decided teaching was the way forward for her. Ema did her teachers` training under the superb guidance of both Christina Ballard (CDE AISTD Examiner ARAD) and Jackie Barnes (Cert Ed FISTD).
In September 2013 we were lucky enough to gain Ema`s services as a Modern, Tap and Jazz teacher at MAPA. She now assists Miss Kate with both Junior and Senior Musical Theatre too.
Miss Ema has introduced us to Festivals, and also to the world of Disney!
Ema has choreographed for Mardi Gras in London, Disney in Paris and regularly achieves outstanding results with the ISTD Examination Board. She has won many accolades for her achievements at Festivals locally and further afield and we feel most fortunate to have her teaching for us at MAPA.
Ema`s ethos is “anyone can learn to dance, given the right encouragement and to teach is to touch a life forever”.
