Jacob trained at MAPA from 2017 to 2023 in Ballet, Jazz, Modern and Musical Theatre, before going on to study at Central School of Ballet, where he graduated with a First-Class BA (Hons) Degree. Alongside his studies, he taught junior boys aged 6–15 at Central and supported the school’s outreach programmes, giving him hands-on experience teaching younger dancers within a professional training environment.

As a performer, Jacob danced with Ballet Central, taking on soloist roles in works by Kenneth MacMillan and Ashley Page, and worked directly with Lynn Wallis, Head of the RAD, who invited him to further performance opportunities with the association. This September, Jacob will be joining the London City Ballet as a trainee, with the aim of securing classical ballet work in the UK or Europe.

Returning to MAPA as a teacher, Jacob brings both his training and his professional performing experience full circle, offering students insight drawn from his own journey through the school.
