Carla is a graduate of Performers College and during her training obtained her teaching qualifications in ISTD Modern & Tap.

Carla embarked on a professional dance and singing career performing in summer seasons and pantomimes across England, as well as Charity and Gala events at venues including London Palladium, Royal Albert Hall and Grosvenor House.

 

She then went on to complete several cruise contracts as a dance captain, dancer and singer in the resident band.  After her last cruise contract Carla settled in Florida, USA, establishing an entertainment agency and returned to her love of teaching dance.

 

After several transatlantic moves, Carla settled permanently back in Essex and was thrilled to rejoin MAPA as part of their regular teaching staff.
