Clare Mason

Clare has been working with children of all ages in the drama and performance fields since graduating from Warwick University in 1999 with a degree in Theatre and Performance.  Clare aspires in her drama work to engender enthusiasm in others through her passion for drama and her classes are energetic, all inclusive and lots of fun.  She has ran, and continues to run a number of successful after-school drama clubs in and around the Southend area.  Further to this Clare has led regular drama sessions in schools from preschool age to secondary level.  Clare has produced and directed a number of productions to include 'The Adventures of Pinocchio', 'Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat' and staged a Christmas centre piece drama production at the Brentwood Centre for the Brentwood Catholic Youth Service.

Alongside the drama classes at schools, Clare runs drama workshops and storytelling sessions during the school holidays.  She has also devised workshops for the Cliffs Pavilion and Palace Theatre and for Southend and Rochford Library groups.  Aside from her regular classes, Clare enjoys volunteering and can be found busy organising fundraising community projects to include variety shows and cabaret evenings to give young people and adults an opportunity to showcase their talents!  No matter the perceived ability, Clare's belief is that everyone has creative abilities and her classes and workshops strive to inspire others to explore limitless possibilities through the medium of drama.
